SY45 Use of Unmanned Aircraft (UA) was rewritten to reflect current regulations. UA Operations are now permitted University-wide but must be conducted in accordance with the applicable federal, state, and local laws, as well as the University’s UA Operations Manual. The policy covers all persons wishing to operate UA for PSU-affiliated activity and includes operations over University property and over property not owned by the University. The policy change includes new sections: requirements for all operations of UA, exceptions, responsibilities, and noncompliance. The policy also designates a UA Operations Manager.
